Maid Mayhem is a 2-4 player Action Party game where you and your friends take the role of a Big Buff Bald Maid and have to clean Grandma Twiggy’s house at the same time! Take your trusty tools to clean and fight each other to make sure that you clean the most! Can you become THE BEST MAID!

Role in Maid Mayhem

In Maid Mayhem, I was the Marketing Lead and Sound Design Lead.

As Marketing Lead, I primarily managed the team’s social media presence (Instagram), creating a constant stream of content showcasing and promoting the game and its development. With an average of 2-4 posts a week, the team’s Instagram account gained 189 followers over the span of 6 months, and thousands of views across 49 posts. In the last 30 days before our game’s release on April 7th, 2026, the page garnered 40,150 views across 21 posts promoting the game’s release on Steam and its appearance at Level Up Showcase in Toronto. With this marketing, the game managed to get 230 wishlists on Steam prior to its release, as well as win 1st place for the People’s Choice award at Level Up Showcase 2026.

For my role as Sound Design Lead, I was in charge of producing and implementing all the sound effects in the game. 99% of the sound effects in the game were foley, with the 1% being digitally created using tools like Online Sequencer. The sound effects were all recorded, edited, and balanced using Adobe Audition before being implemented into Unity. I produced sound effects for each tool, having different sounds for each unique attack animation and ensuring players have audible feedback for when they use certain mechanics or abilities, as well as sound effects for UI buttons and voicelines/sound bites for the maids. Paired with Nicole Mellor’s amazing background tracks, Maid Mayhem was able to win 2nd place for the Achievement in Audio award at Level Up Showcase.
